Ce'Nedra has the ability of persuasion through speech. Different things affect the strength of this ability, such as the earnestness of her request or her amount of emotional investment. It works much better in person than it would through indirect contact, such as through the communicators/phones/television/etc. She will likely not be consciously aware of this ability for some time.

She also wears a pendant that allows her to eavesdrop on other peoples' conversations

Permissions is opt-in, and, naturally, any use of these abilities will likely require conversation prior to their use.
